Subjects:
1. urban scene
2. rural scene
3. something you would put in a tourist guide for your region
Bonus subject: a statue (shot anyway you’d like)
Rural Scene:
This is at my Aunt's house. They have a nice little wooded area and a pond in the backyard.
This is at the dog park. My boxer just loves this park where she gets to run free.Tourist Guide:
This is one of the many gardens at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park in Greendale, WI. We used to visit the gardens all the time as kids. My Grandma has a green thumb, so we always went with her.
This is the tiger exhibit at the Milwaukee County Zoo.Bonus: Statue

This is one of four statues at each corner of a pond in the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park. The others are a fish, a crab and a pelican.
This is part of a sculpture by Susan Falkman. It is on display at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park. There are about 10 of these sculptures on display in the gardens. This is one of my favorites.
Here is what the full sculpture looks like.My tip:
I guess my tip for landscapes would be to watch any lines in you composition. Make sure that they are leading the viewer's eye where you want it to go.

beautiful shots, Elizabeth. I specially like your rural scenes.
great shots, that pond has some serious algae growth....yick but still kind of pretty, I like shot from the dog park, the lines of the fence and the tall grass really draw the eye, they make you want to see what is further down the path. You found some really awesome statues to shoot, very interesting shots of them.
