I got a new Canon digital Rebel xsi for Mother's Day. After seeing this photography challenge at scrapbook.com, I thought this was the perfect way to start using my camera. I have mainly been photographing the kids at their baseball games and things around the house, like flowers. I hope these challenges get my creative juices flowing.

Hi Elizabeth! Yeah, I tend to shoot "the typical" too. That's ANOTHER reason why I wanted to start this photo forum was just an excuse to shoot stuff that you wouldn't normally shoot. And, it's great experience setting stuff up and just playing with the camera and lighting situations, etc. How are your creative juices flowing now? Can't wait to see your pictures!
