It all started with Anne Rice and a vampire named Louis

Ever since I was a teen I have loved vampire stories.  I read Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice and I was hooked.  I even took a vampire literature class in college.  So of course when the vampire series by Stephenie Myers came to my attention, I had to read it.  Yes, the Twilight Saga.  Yes, I know they are meant for teenage girls, but seeing that I have a teenage girl in the house, I had to make sure she could read them, right?  So, Stephanie bought me the first 2 for Christmas in 2008.  I thought, let me see if I like them first before I get all of them.  Well, I had the first 2 done by New Year's Eve and was thoroughly hooked.  I mean, who could resist the charms of Edward.  So New Year's Day I went out to but the other 2 and finished them in record time.  Then I let Stephanie read then.  Yep, she was hooked too.  We just had to go see the movie.  Let's just say, the obsession began.  So after reading the books multiple times, see the movie multiple times, we were on the look out for any thing Twilight related.  Then I found someone on scrapbook.com talking about this Edward rubber stamp.  I just had to see what it was.  So I found it, it was made by the Greeting Farm.  It was the cutest thing I have seen.  I just had to have it.  So of course I had to show it to Stephanie.  She loved it too.  So I got to thinking, what project could I come up with so I could buy Edward.  I could totally make something for Stephanie for Christmas.  I could get other stamps to represent the other characters from the book.  So that's what I did.  I went crazy and made Stephanie a bunch of Twilight stuff for Christmas.  Then I found out that Kaitlynn's teacher also loved the books, so I made her some too.

I'll add the photos of Stephanie's gifts in a new post.

Yes, I am also obsessed, and I don't have any kids to use as an excuse. But then, I was also really into Harry Potter, but not as much as Twilight. I LOVE the Twilight presents you made me!
